With the release of our first private alpha only a few days in, Milestone 1 has been a great success. While not nearly anything close to the full featured beauty we plan on releasing for our first version, M1 marks the start of a great opportunity for the entire Cairo team to work on a project we love and are passionate about, and to share this passion with our wonderful community of testers, users, and Windows enthusiasts. The testing period will end on February 15, 2009.
The first private alpha of Cairo, Milestone 1, has been released to testers. It supports Windows Vista and Windows 7 32-bit and requires .NET 3.5 SP1.

All testers for Milestone 1 should check their Inbox and SPAM box for an official Cairo email. All those not responding will forfeit their place in the upcoming private alpha. This is required to assure quality communication between the development team and our external testers.
We thank you all in advance for your diligence and cooperation.
