Cairo: A Windows Shell Alternative

Cairo is a Windows shell alternative being developed in C# and WPF aiming to revolutionize the interaction of individuals with personal computers. Key developmental elements include usability, functionality, and design. Special attention will be focused on advancing the current ’start’ navigation philosophy and providing improved modes of accessing data and applications. With the aforementioned objectives, the development team hopes to develop a revolutionary desktop experience aimed at increasing productivity and advancing current technology trends and ideology.
